Unfortunately Josh and I didn't have a camera when we were at the top, so no good close up's of the insanity. I think these pictures pretty much sum it up though..

This is us after being up the top - we were saturated but managed to avoid getting too muddy like most of the spectators trying to come down

"Why are we here?" we asked ourselves. Because it was ridiculously entertaining...

It's quaint English Village Life for Richard and Kristina in Bourton. They live in such a gorgeous part of England in the Cotswolds.

Yep sure looks like it!! So far.. we have been pretty lucky with the weather. We've had plenty of blue skies and sunshine with only a few grey days...

In our first week Bonnie and Andy introduced us to the joys of the English BYO BBQ to the park... as you can see Josh completely mastered it!

Beers in the park is bliss after a long Canadian winter..


This is our new little home. We have taken on the challenge of the studio apartment. But as the following photos will show.. we think it's going to be worth it.

Josh's Birthday
Started off with breakfast, then a walk to Notting Hill and the Portobello Rd markets.

Then it was off the the park to join some friends for a friendly game of rounders!!

Josh was star pitcher for the day.. It was a fabulous day.

Just had to record Josh woo-ing our hosts again.. Here he is cooking for Rich, the guy we stayed with for week 2. He's becoming quite the impressive chef.

Our Big Apple Bike Ride

We were in the third wave of 10,000 people... It was cold and gloomy and we were right beside the sight of the World Trade Centre which is still a very sobering place.


We had to wait quite a while until we even moved...



Once we were off it was great fun!! But before we even got to Central Park we were walking..
The second time we had to walk...

We got delayed on the way to the Staten Island Ferry..
